Hot Water Slab Leak, Water Damage, El Cajon, San Diego

The owner of this stunning El Cajon home called us to report water damages to their tile flooring along with the walls throughout the kitchen and living room. The culprit was a hot water slab leak. Unfortunately, this required the plumber to destroy the floor in order to repair the pipe. Our Contents Crew was needed to come in and perform a pack-out of all the items throughout the downstairs portion of the home. This allowed the Mitigation team to perform emergency services that were needed. Demo was then performed, equipment was set and the detachment of the full height cabinet and shelving in the pantry had been completed. Removal of drywall and insulation was necessary for optimal drying. Once this process was completed and the home had been tested for mold, our Repair Team was able to begin. They were able to completely re-tile the entire bottom floor, stain and gloss to match the desires of the homeowners as well as hang drywall, texture and paint. Once completed, this home was back to looking like the stunning home they love.
